PM Narendra Modi invites companies Petrotech for Make in India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Petrotech Summit 2016 in Delhi aiming hydrocarbon companies for Make in India initiative
Petrotech 2016 is the 12th summit of International Oil and Gas held from 5th December to 7th December
Speaking at the occasion, PM stated that India’s economy may grow five folds till 2040.
India needs to grow in manufacturing, civil avialtion and transport sector
Prime Minister expressed that country needs growth in various sectors of the economy like manufacturing, transport and civil aviation.
Modi state that we need to reduce the import dependency and produce domestic oil and gas.
PM stated that energy sustainability must not be a compulsion but should do it out of commitment.
On speaking about the poor sections of the society, PM stated that energy must be accessible to the poor people and it needs efficiency in energy use.
