India and China two-day informal summit concluded in the Central-Chinese city of Wuhan on 28th April 2018.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held a fruitful informal meeting with bilateral talks and friendly gesture.
PM Narendra Modi also invited Chinese President Xi Jinping for the next informal summit scheduled to be held in 2019 in India.
India- China two-day informal summit aimed to establish a new cooperation chapter between both the countries which is essential to maintain peace and stability around the world.
India- China two-day informal summit also held talks over bilateral relations that faced issues such as the military standoff in Doklam, at the India-China-Bhutan Trijunction, nearly eight months before.
India-China has agreed to strengthen their strategic partnership for long-term perspective for closer development in mutually beneficial and balanced way.
Both the leaders showed agreement to work for strengthening bilateral-trade, terrorism, tightening border security regions, entertainment and global growth of both the countries.
PM Narendra Modi at the delegation-level talks also stressed upon “STRENGTH” mechanism to highlight the importance of people-to-people contacts.
PM Narendra Modi proclaimed such people to people contacts must be taken forward through - STRENGTH or “S-Spirituality, T-Tradition, Trade and Technology, R-Relationship, E-Entertainment (movies, art, dances), N-Nature conservation, G-Games, T-Tourism and H-Health and Healing”.
