India and Oman have signed eight Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Agreements on 11th February 2018 in Muscat, Oman.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Muscat from Dubai on 11th February 2018, in the last leg of his three-nation tour.
The MoUs were signed in a delegation-level meeting between PM Modi and Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said al Said.
The First Agreement was signed on Legal and Judicial Cooperation in Civil and Commercial matter.
The Second Agreement was signed on mutual visa exemption for holders of Diplomatic, Special, Service and Official Passports.
The Third MoU was signed on Cooperation in the field of health.
The Fourth MoU was signed on Cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space.
The Fifth MoU was signed on Cooperation between Foreign Service Institute, Ministry of External Affairs, India and Oman Diplomatic Institute.
The Sixth MoU was signed on Academic and Scholarly cooperation sectors between National Defence College Sultanate of Oman and the Institute for Defence Studies and the Analyses.
The Seventh MoU was signed in the field of Tourism cooperation between India and Oman.
