Israel and India signed Nine Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Agreements on 15th January 2018, as the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is on his six-day visit to India.
Firstly, a MoU on Cyber Security Cooperation between India and Israel was signed.
Secondly, a MoU between the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Ministry of Energy on Cooperation in Oil and Gas Sector was signed.
An Agreement of Protocol between India and Israel on Amendments to the Air Transport Agreement was signed.
An Agreement on Film-co-production between India and Israel was signed.
A MoU between the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH and the Centre for Integrative Complementary Medicine, Shaare Zedek Medical Centre of Israel, related to cooperation in the field of research in Homeopathic Medicine was signed.
A MoU between Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology for cooperation in the field of space was signed.
A memorandum of intent was on Invest India and Invest in Israel. Indian Oil and Israel's Phinergy Ltd signed and a letter of intent for cooperation in the area of metal-air batteries.
Lastly, a letter of Intent between IOCL (Indian Oil) and Yeda Research and Development Co Ltd for cooperation in the area of concentrated solar thermal technologies was signed.
