N.Ramachandran IOA president gets Olympic Movement award 2016
The president of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) N.Ramachandran gets Olympic honour for his outstanding work to Olympic Movement.

This award was presented by the president of IOC, Thomas Bach to Ramachandran.
Olympic movement Award, established in May 1975, is the highest award of Olympic movement and is awarded to those who have done a distinguished service to the Olympic Movement.
Olympic Award established by the International Olympic commitee
It was established by the International Olympic Committee as a successor to the Olympic certificate.
He was elected as the president of Asian Squash Federation in 2001 and was re-elected for this post in 2005.
He was also elected for the president of World Squash Foundation in 2008.
In 2009, he was elected as the patron of both Asian Squash Foundations and Squash Rackets Federation of India.
In the year 2014, he was appointed as the president of Indian Olympic association.
Ramachandran was associated with several sports organisations and has hugely contributed to the Olympic Movement.
