*Total mission fund is Rs 2.05 Lakh Crore.
*21% of the funds will come from convergence and Public-Private Partnership PPP.
*45% funds come from Central and State Governments and the remaining from loan,debt and others.
And all thesefunds are distributed among these works

*Water Supply
*Wastewater/Sewerage
*Storm Water Drain
It has made both physical and financial progress since its implementation.
*222 PPP projects worth Rs.24,964 crore have been completed.
*Of the total projects,5924 projects have been tendered ,work orders have been tendered for 5236 and 2665 projects are fully operational.
*70 smart cities have developed in the country.

*Smart Cities Awards are released every year 2020.
*Rise in air pollution,increase in road congestion due to an increase in urbanization.
