Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Arun Jaitley has launched National Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Data Portal & Corporate Data Portal on 19th January 2018 in New Delhi.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has introduced the portals, to initiate accountability and transparency for corporate India. This will help to fulfill Government’s vision towards uplifting technology towards Smart Governance.
The main objective of the portals is to provide facile accessibility to people and also to secure notable and worthy compliance. It will also help in standardizing and strengthening the CSR activities.
National CSR Data Portal will capture information on CSR activities carried out by qualified companies, filed on MCA21 registry in their financial statements. It will help to generate pre-defined and customised reports with respect to expenditure across states, districts and development sectors and will also provide valuable feedback on projects given by registered users to companies.
Corporate Data Portal focuses to make all financial and non-financial information of companies available in a user-friendly format to the general public. The portal will help to generate pre-defined and customised reports and will also facilitate high transparency & contrivance for powerful Corporate Governance.
