The 17th iteration of the Joint Military Training Exercise "Ex Yudh Abhyas 2021" between the Indian Army and the United States Army is set for October 15 to 29, 2021 at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Alaska, USA. The Indian contingent will be made up of 350 members of an Infantry Battalion Group.
The exercise will help the two armies improve their communication, cooperation, and interoperability. The previous drill took place in February 2021 at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The goal of the exercise is to improve communication, cooperation, and interoperability between the two armies.
The joint exercise will focus on Combined Arms Manoeuvres in cold weather, with the primary goal of sharing tactical level training and learning best practices from one another. After a 48-hour validation period, the exercise will come to a close.
