EPFO signed MOU with CSC for EPFO pensioners for digital India

 

 

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Common Services Centre to expand the convenience of EPF members

The pensioners of EPFO are required to submit their digital life certificates through Jeevan Pramaan Patra programme.

A problem was faced by the pensioners living in remote areas to move to EPF offices for filing paper based life certificate.

But now this problem has been solved by this MoU, through a large number of points of presence of CSC networking.

The organisation is also planning to enable various online services such as Aadhar Card, e-KYC operated upload and update facility and other online services

CSC is the b3roadband enabled by the Government for rural service delivery points, offers Government to Consumer (G2C), Business to Consumer (B2C) and other services.
