India setting up Krishi Vigyan Kendra in all district for farmers

 

 

Government to provide assistance to farmers by establishing Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Science centre for agriculture) in each district

Union Government to establish a Krishi Vigyan Kendra in each district to provide technical assistance to farmers.

Radha Mohan Singh, Agriculture Minister, announced while interacting with Krishi Vigyan Kendra experts and district level associates of agriculture development of 12 states.

This husk burnt will prevent the unfavourable effect in the environment.

Each Krishi Vigyan Kendra is provided with 16 technical and non-technical staff headed by a programme coordinator and 6 matter specialists in crop production, extension, Horticulture etc.

These Kendras provides intensive hands on training in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry etc.

They also conduct on-farming tests of various agricultural and allied technologies and conduct frontline demonstrations of oilseeds, cereals and pulses.
