Kavita Devi, Become the first Indian women to sign-up for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

A Formerly Competitive powerlifter and gold medalist Kavita Devi, Become the first Indian women to sign-up for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on 15 October 2017.

Beside, Shadia Bseiso becomes the first Arab women from the Middle East to sign a WWE developmental contract.

Previously, Kavita Devi won the gold medal in the 75 kg weightlifting division at the South Asian Games.

Kavita Devi was a participant in the Mae Young Classic women’s tournament, the first ever World Wrestling Entertainment tournament for women.

Gold medalist Kavita Devi shot to fame when her video of wrestling in a salwar kameez against women wrestler B Bull Bull went viral on social media.

Kavita Devi took training from Dalip Singh Rana popularly known as the Great Khali.

Presently, she is expected to begin training at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida in January 2018.

WWE Performance Centre establishes in 2013. It is a professional wrestling school which is located in Orlando, Florida (USA).

WWE Performance Centre train member participants through a comprehensive program that includes in-ring training, physical preparedness, and character development.
