Karun Nair and Ravindra Jadeja build a seventh wicket partnership that crossed the 100 run mark in 15 overs.
India made their highest total in test run total in test matches and Nair made himself earned the distinction of converting his Maiden century into a triple century.

Ravindra Jadeja was out in 51 runs but Nair carried on after the tea session Nair strode forward on his foot front and placed a ball at the boundary to reach 201 runs with R Ashwin.
Before the start of the match there was a doubt that Nair will be able to make his debut for India but he did so.
