Kailash Kher was born on 7th July 1973, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is an Indian film music composer and pop-rock based singer, he has sung songs with a music style influenced by Indian folk music and Sufi music.
Kailash Kher moved to Mumbai in the year 2001. Kailash Kher's first recording was on an advertising jingle for a diamond company, for which he was paid 5000 Rs.
Kailash Kher got the opportunity to sing a song for the movie Andaaz. In this movie his song "Rabba Ishq Na Hove" became much popular.
Kailash Kher song "Allah Ke Bande" from the movie "Waisa Bhi Hota Hai 2" became very popular and this song made him a popular singing star in Bollywood.
Kailash Kher started his band Kailasa in Mumbai 2004. He and his band have performed over 1000 concerts at international level.
