Jhulan Goswami is former Captain and all-rounder cricketer of India National Women Cricket Team.

Jhulan Goswami is appointing to lead India National Women Cricket Team for upcoming World Cup. She announced her retirement on August 2018.

Jhulan Goswami was born on 25th November 1982 in Nadia, West Bengal. Jhulan Goswami made her debut in Women’s One Day International cricket in 2002 against England.

Jhulan Goswami was known for both her bowling and batting capabilities. She was the fastest playing bowler in Women cricket.

Jhulan Goswami Goswami along with Mithali Raj encourages Indian Women’s Cricket Team to win first Test series against England in 2006–07.

Jhulan Goswami took the captaincy from Mithali Raj in 2008 and managed this responsibility till 2011.

Jhulan Goswami won the ICC Women’s Player of the Year 2007 M.A. Chidambaram trophy for Best Women Cricketer in 2011.

Jhulan Goswami is the highest wicket-taker in Women’s One Day International cricket in February 2018, against South Africa.

Jhulan Goswami became the first bowler to take 200 wickets in WODIs after taking the wicket of South Africa opener Laura Wolvaardt.

Jhulan Goswami wins Arjuna Award in 2010, Padma Shri Award in 2012 and wins a title of Leading International Wicket Taker in Indian Women’s Cricket Team.
