Chairman Of Interglobe Aviation Devdas Mallya Passes Away

 

 

Devdas Mallya, chairman of Interglobe Aviation, which operates the country's largest aviation company Indigo, passed away on Sunday morning in Mangalore. He was also a non-executive independent director of the company.

In the information given to BSE, Interglob Aviation said, "Devdas Mallya Mangalore, chairman and non-executive independent director of the company, died tragically and untimely this morning." He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda and Bank of Maharashtra. But had also worked.

IndiGo, which provides cheap air services at affordable rates, is among the world's 5 most affordable airlines to provide international connectivity. Indigo is the fastest growing passenger service in India.
