Indian Railways: About 50,000 people died in rail accidents from the year 2015 to the year 2017 and Northern Railway Zone 

According to the figures of Indian Railways, about 50,000 people have died due to trains falling on rail tracks between 2015 and 2017. Indian Railways has released official data on October 22, 2018.

Indian Railways have released data from the death of the train from the year 2015 to the year 2017. According to statistics, the reasons for these deaths are being said to violate the safety instructions by the people.

According to statistics, the death toll is highest in Northern Railway Zone and this figure is 7,908. After this, 6,149 people were killed in South Railway Zone and 5,670 in Eastern Railway Zone.

According to the data provided by the Railways, under section 147 of the Indian Railways Act, in the meantime, a fine of Rs 2.94 crore was imposed by the courts for violation of railway rules.

At the same time, 1,75,996 people were arrested and prosecuted by the RPF to obstruct the railway system last year. Along with this, a fine of Rs 4.35 crore was imposed on such people.

Section 147 of Indian Railways Act provides that if a person enters the railway area without proper authority or enters the authority with misuse of the railway property, then, in that case, the person will be given six months Punishment or a thousand rupees can be penalized or punished by both.
