Indian Railways: Now check IRCTC Live train status on WhatsApp Number 7349389104 Process Details
Indian Railways in collaboration with MakeMyTrip, a travel company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, enabled passengers to check their online train status using WhatsApp.
Now, Railway passengers can keep themselves updated with live train status, PNR status, departed railway station, emerging railway station and much more.
This new facility will eliminate a passenger's need to dial 139 for live train running status or download some random, third-party apps on his/her smartphone.
Process To Enable
- To enable this facility, a passenger needs to save a number, that is +91 7349389104 through MakeMyTrip on their mobile phones.
- Passengers then will have to send a train number on this number through WhatsApp, and details of the respective train will be provided.
- Passengers must also note that if the server isn't busy, you can expect a response, with the details of the respective train, within 10 seconds of making the request.
- But one can always look out for blue ticks to know if the server has received the message or not.
- This new feature has been envisaged in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and has been in operation already.
