An Indian-origin campaigner Ms. Gina Miller has been named the UK’s most influential black person of the years for winning a legal challenge, the information shared on 25 October 2017.
Gina Miller won the legal challenge that prevents British Prime Minister Theresa May to get Parliament’s approval before triggering Article 50 in March.
Gina Miller (52 years old campaigner), ranked on top in 2018 Powerlist of 100 people which recognizes people in the UK of African/African Caribbean heritage, who are rated on their ability to change lives and alter events.
Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, stated that any member state may leave in accordance with its own constitutional requirements.
Gina Miller has been attacked several times on social media for taking her stand against British’s exit from the European Union.
