The Indian Navy will host the multi-national Milan series of naval exercises at Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar islands, starting from 6th March 2018 to 13th March 2018.
The Milan-2018 exercise is the eight-day mega naval exercise, which will be held under the supervision of Andaman and Nicobar Command.
The Milan 2018 exercise will be conducted with the theme of ‘Friendship Across the Seas’.
The Indian Navy, this year will host participation of 15 countries in this 2018 edition of Milan exercise which includes Australia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, New Zealand, Oman, Vietnam, Thailand, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya and Cambodia.
The Milan 2018 exercise will showcase the diverse mix of professional exercises and seminars, social events and sporting fixtures.
