Indian Wicket Keeper Rishabh Pant Levels World Record of Most Catches In Test Cricket

Indian Wicket Keeper/Batsman Rishabh Pant has leveled the world record of most catches in a Test by a wicketkeeper, level 11 in the first match against Australia in first Adelaide test while breaking the Indian mark. 

Rishabh Pant  (21-year-old) is now level with Englishman Jack Russell (vs South Africa at Johannesburg in 1995) and South Africa's AB de Villiers (vs Pakistan at Johannesburg in 2013). 

Rishabh Pant crossed the India record of 10 catches in a game by Wriddhiman Saha, he now sits at the top with most catches in a Test match in the world along with Russell and De Villiers, closely followed by Bob Taylor, Adam Gilchrist and Wriddhiman Saha with 10 catches.

Rishabh Pant is playing only his 6th Test and taken 31 catches so far.

India beat Australia by 31 runs to win the opening Test in Adelaide. This is the first time India have won an opening Test in Australia.
