Indian Air Force (IAF) Selects Andra Pradesh for Helicopter Training Centre at Donakonda in Prakasam District
Along with Pakistan and China bordering China, India will strengthen itself even on the eastern end of the country. Under this, the Indian Air Force will make an important strategic place in Andhra Pradesh.
This decision has been taken because of the increasing importance of China and the growing importance of the shores of this area. First of all, a major helicopter training centre will be set up at Donakonda in Prakasam district.
In the Anantapur district, a drone-making unit, Amravati has been set up to establish a Cyber Security Center. Simultaneously, there are some plans related to Rajamundri and Vijayawada airports.
The Andhra government is also showing interest in the plan of Air Force. Initially, the government is ready to give 2,700 acres of land.
There is also a runway made during World War II, which can be used in the helicopter training program. An official of the case said that 300 acres of land will be given to the Airport Authority and the remaining will be used for helicopter training.
Aeroplane helicopters along with other aeroplanes will also be present at the strategic base. They can be used during a natural disaster.
India is already conscious of Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC) from China. From its successful diplomacy, India also resolved the issue of Dokalm. Now India wants to keep an eye on China's growing power in the eastern region.
China was previously working under the 'beads of beads' strategy in this area. In it, he wants to make a presence on the islands of different countries and catch the Indian Ocean.
