Astra (BVR): India's first air-to-air missile, features, destructive capacity

The first air-to-air missile of India, 'Astra' (BVR) features, abilities, facts & details

'Astra' is an air-to-air missile, which is developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) beyond the boundary of the scene.

It is the first airborne missile developed by air-to-air India.
This advanced missile fighter gives the drivers the ability to target and kill enemy aircraft from a distance of 80 kilometers.

The Defense Research and Development Organization has developed the missile to install Mirage 2000H, MiG-29, Sea Harrier, MiG-21, HAL Tejas and Sukhoi SU-30MKI aircraft.

It uses solid fuel propellants, although the DRDO wants to develop propulsion systems like sky missiles for this.
The missile is capable of intercepting the target plane at the soundtrack speed.

The success of this test is being considered as very important because being a part of the final phase tests before being included in the army. The only air-to-air Armed missile has been developed in the country.

The missile successfully targeted with high firepower, which caters to the mission's mission. In the trials so far, the weapon was fully fired by SU-30 aircraft. The plane test, therefore, holds that it was part of the final test before being included in the defense fleet.
