Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić signed two agreements on 15 September 2018 to promote bilateral relations.
After this, the two leaders issued postal stamps in memory of spiritual guru Swami Vivekananda and great scientist Nikola Tesla.
Naidu spoke on strengthening bilateral cooperation in several areas including trade, defence and information technology from Vusis at Serbia Palace.
The President of Serbia and Vice President of India jointly participated in the meeting of the India-Serbia Trade Forum in Belgrade. There is a historical and special relationship as co-founder of non-coalition movement between the two countries.
India and Serbia, with the determination to fight terrorism of all kinds, decided to increase cooperation in defence manufacturing, information technology and infrastructure sector.
Between the two countries, the health of plants and their protection against diseases and the modified Air Services Agreement were signed.
Agreement for cooperation in the field of health of plants and diseases from diseases will increase the trade of agricultural products between the two countries.
Simultaneously, starting future direct flights between Serbia and India will lead to trade and tourism. Many issues arose in the interaction between the two leaders. They agreed to cooperate and intensify in the field of mutual interests.
