The Government of India has signed a Letter of intent with Norway to extend the cooperation within health sector on 28 September 2017.
The government of Norway to extend the cooperation within health sector through the Norway India partnership initiative (NIPI) for a period of three years starting from 2018.
The Letter was signed between the two countries ‘the union ministry of health and family welfare and the Norwegian ministry of foreign affairs’ in New Delhi.
The cooperation between India and Norway will continue to be aligned with the development goals of the India Government
As outlined in its national health Policy 2017 for the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
