India and Morocco have signed the revised Air Services Agreement on September 19, 2018. This modern agreement will increase air connectivity between the two countries.

The delegation of the two countries met three times in the past years. During this, efforts have been made to liberalize the markets between the two countries and update the existing Air Services Agreement.

Both sides removed legal and technical barriers, and with this, both the countries agreed to prepare a modern draft of the Air Services Agreement. After this, the two sides got approval on the approved draft of the Air Services Agreement from their respective governments.

This agreement has been formally signed during the visit of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicrafts and Social Economy Minister Mohammed Sajid to India. On behalf of the Moroccan side, Mohammad Sajid and Indian side signed the agreement on behalf of Union Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu.

As a result of this agreement, the air connectivity of India and Morocco will increase and with this, the airlines of both countries will be able to share the code among themselves.
As a result of this agreement, further freedom will be possible to increase the number of direct flights between the two countries.

These developments or agreements in the civil aviation sector will help one nation to travel to another country, which will further strengthen the mutual economic and cultural ties.
