Indo-Japan Joint Air Force Exercise 'Shinyuu Maitri 2019' Details, Aim, Significance

Indo-Japan Air force military exercise 'Shinyuu Maitri 2019' begins on 17th October 2019 and is scheduled to take place till 23rd October 2019.

The Shinyuu Maitri 2019 military exercise will be carried out between the Indian Air Force and the Japanese Air Self Defence Force (JASDF). The joint exercise will be held at Air Force Station, Arjan Singh in Panagarh town, West Bengal.

Within a few days of India and Japan Air Force joint exercise, another drill between armies of the same countries will also get underway in the eastern theatre.

The Shinyuu Maitri 2019 military exercise, the main objective is to undertake Joint Mobility and Tactical interoperability among two forces.

The Shinyuu Maitri 2019 military exercise  IAF’s C-130 J aircraft of Special Operations Squadron of and JASDF’s C-130 H of Tactical Airlift Squadron will participate in the exercise.
