First Indo-French Knowledge Summit 2018, Successfully Concluded In New Delhi- Details, Objective, Purpose

The first ever Indo-French Knowledge Summit-2018 for the university, scientific and technology cooperation was successfully concluded on 11th March 2018 in New Delhi.

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit was a two-day summit held on 10th March-11th March 2018. It was organized by the French Embassy in India and co-hosted by Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit was also supported by Ministry of Science and Technology, Campus France and Confederation of Indian Industry

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit was held coincided with the diplomatic visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to India.

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit concluded successfully with a landmark agreement on mutual recognition of educational qualifications between the India-France and a record of other 15 MoUs between universities and research institutions on joint initiatives and partnerships.

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit organised with an aim to strengthen & structured roadmap of France-India cooperation for next 5 years, in collaboration with companies.

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit focused to offer a common platform for the common goal to increase student mobility, enlarge collaborations and link campuses to companies by focusing on employability

The Indo-French Knowledge Summit showed the participation of more than 350 people from nearly 80 Indian Institutions and 70 French Institutions along with key enterprises.

During the Indo-French Summit, several sessions and round tables on several topics of mutual interest were conducted including on aerospace, agriculture and food processing, eco-energy, mathematics and information technology, strengthening employability and others.
