India has launched its second IT corridor in China to cater Indian IT companies access to the growing Chinese software market.
The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has established one more Sino-Indian Digital Collaborative Opportunities Plaza (SIDCUP) platform in Guiyang, China.
Agreements worth about USD $6 Million were signed between Indian service providers and Chinese customers at the launch of the corridor by China’s Guiyang Municipal government and the NASSCOM.
Earlier in December 2017, the NASSCOM had established its first SIDCUP platform in the Chinese port city of Dalian, which was India’s first IT hub in China.
The 2nd Guiyang corridor will focus on Big Data, whereas earlier launched Dalian corridor focused on the Internet of Things (IoT).
The 2nd Guiyang corridor intends to create an online and offline presence to promote co-create culture between two large neighbors in Big Data space.
The 2nd Guiyang corridor is aimed at setting up local offices and assisting companies from Guiyang to establish software and IT units in India.
The 2nd Guiyang corridor initiative will give a big encouragement to cooperation between India and China in IT-enabled services (ITES) sector.
