Corona Warriors (Medical and Police personal) taking participation in the 74th Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2020 at Lal Quila following strict social distancing rules.
74th Independence Day Celebration taking place amid deadly virus Corona, Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. This independence Day reeling under tight vigilance in New Delhi against viral infection and other security measures.
Following changes have been noticed due to COVID-19 in independence Day celebrations:
1. No school children are part of 74th Independence Day.
2. There are around 150 guests attending 74th Independence Day at Lal Quila.
3. Strict rules of Social distancing be followed on the ground in view of deadly COVID-19 viral infection.
4. Only 500 NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets participating in the function to celebrate this Independence Day.
5. 74th Independence Day will also witness Corona Warriors on the Lal Quila celebration ground.
