Governments GST collection for the month of November dropped to Rs 97,637crore after it crossed the Rs one trillion mark last month on the back of anti-evasion measures and consumption boost anti-evasion festive demand.
The total number of GSTR 3B Returns filed for the month of October up to 30th November 2018 is 69.6lakh.
CGST is rs 16,812 crore SCGT is Rs 23,070 crore, IGST is RS 49726 crore.ministry of finance said this data as a collection of GST.
The drop in the GST collection is due to drop comes amid a government effort to meet the fiscal deficit Target of 3.3percent for the current fiscal.
At the end of the October on the back of shortfall of revenue, the latest data showed that the government breached its fiscal deficit target.
