Greenpeace Report Declares Soft Drink Companies Spreading Most Plastics Worldwide

 

 

According to Greenpeace, soft drinks companies such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Nestle spread most of the plastic waste worldwide.

A recent report on plastic pollution has been issued by Greenpeace Institute running the Environmental Friendly Program. 

It has been said in the report that the most polluting companies in Asia are Coco-Cola, Parfetti and Mondale etc. These companies spread pollution alone to 30%  of the plastic pollution in the entire Asian region.

The report found that Coca-Cola, the world's largest soft drink company, is the largest garbage producing company. The report also includes names of Denon, Mondelez, Procter & Gamble and Unilever.

After looking at the accounts of these brands, it was found that the corporate sector is most responsible for spreading the pollution of the plastic.

Most polystyrene type of plastic is found in the garbage, it is used to make packaging and coffee cups.

There were PET bottles and containers on the second number. Subsequently, the Coke Company spokesperson issued the statement and said that the Coke Company will be helpful in fulfilling Greenpeace's goal of eliminating ocean waste.
