The Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal will be side by side at the BRICS Summit held on 15th and 16th October 2016 in Goa.
The theme of the meet is ‘Building Responsive, inclusive and collective solutions’
The Sculptures would be created by the Sudarshan Pattnaik and his students of about 30 feet long and 20 feet wide and it would take four to five days to make the sculptures.
The famous historical places of all around the world will be made by sand and will be displayed.
The famous monuments include Russia’s Saint Basil Cathedral, Brazil’s Christ The Redeemer and South Africa’s Afreekaans Language Monument, Great wall of China and Taj Mahal will be displayed.
This would require 40-50 tonnes of sand and would be displayed in a box.
