Banwarilal Purohit is an Indian Politician from Vidarbha region. He was a three-time member of Parliament Lok Sabha Constituency from Nagpur.
Banwarilal Purohit was born on 16 April 1940 Nawalgarh in Distric Jhhunjhunu (Rajasthan).
Banwarilal Purohit has obtained ownership from the Nagpur daily Newspaper the Hitavada from Servants of India and Purohit is its current managing editor.
Banwarilal Purohit is also the chairman of Sri Ramdeobbaba College of Engineering and Management in Nagpur.
Banwarilal Purohit was twice as an Indian National Congress Member and also once as a BJP member.
Previously, Banwari Lal was serving as the governor of Assam by replacing Padmanabha Acharya in 2016.
Banwarilal Purohit's role in the political uprising in this state of south India can be important and he is considered to be the big leaders of Vidarbha.
Now, Banwarilal Purohit has also become the full-time Governor of Tamil Nadu after Rosaiah retired in 2016, appointed by the President Sri Ramnath Kovind.
