Mission Karmayogi is the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity .It was launched on 2nd September 2020.
It aims to establish the new national architecture for civil services and will cover around 46 lakh central employees between 2020-25.
Mission Karmayogi will assist the Public Human Resource Council and it will supervise all the central training institutions enabled
for Civil Services Capacity Building and other few more objectives like creating external faculty and so on.
The aim is to prepare the Indian Civil Servant for the future by making him more imaginative, creative,progressive,energetic etc.
And this is required because there is also need to develop domain knowledge besides administrative capacity in the bureaucracy.
A special non-profit company,Special purpose vehicle (SPV) is set up to run this mission ,under the companies Act 2013.
This SPV manages i-GOT karmayogi,which is the online training digital platform.
*It is an integrated Government Online Training Digital Platform,implemented under the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)
*All the digital e-learning courses will be uploaded on this platform for civil servants.
*All of them will take online classes and then evaluated on the basis of their performance.
*And alongwith the online courses,after their completion,deployment,work assignment & notification of vacancies etc. would also be provided on the platform.
