Sahakar Mitra Scheme is a Summer Internship Programe (SIP) which is implemented under the
Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer's Welfare and it will run by National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
*To provide opportunities to the interns to takeup leadership and to play entreprenuerial roles in Farmer Producers Organisations(FPO).
*To help in Promoting Modi's idea 'Vocal for Local' and
*The role,contribution & impact of NCDC and Cooperatives to be taught to the intern and
*Help the Cooperations needy of business plans.
*A Professional Graduate having a Bachelor's degree.
*Professional MBA Graduates (Pursuing/Completed or graduate from other MBA courses).
Keypoints:
Provides financial support to interns for 4 months period.A total of Rs45000 is provided for the internship.No. of interns is 60.
Maximum of 2 interns are choosen from an institution in a year.A chosen intern cannot be rechosen.
