The Kapila Kalam Programme was launched by the Union Education Minister on the 89th Birth Anniversary of former President &
Scientist Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and the launching was done by Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishant'on 15th Oct 2020.
Through this programme,the Government will spread awareness about the importance of patenting an invention,to lead India towards self reliance and to
Target the resources in the field of Intellectual Property to come ahead with their interventions & blend it towards Patent.
Kapila is an acronym for Kalam Program for IP (Intellectual Property)literacy & Awareness.
Students pursuing education in higher educational institutions will get information about intervention and they will be aware of their nights.
The ministry celebrated 15 Oct -23 Oct as Intellectual Property Literacy Week,to promote awareness.
