SVAMITVA(Survey of Villages & Mapping with improvised Technology in Village Area) scheme  Launch ,Objective and Benefits

The full form of SVAMITVA is survey of Vilages & Mapping with improvised Technology in Village Area.

The nodal ministry along with the revenue department & the State Panchayati Raj Department of each state,will work to success the scheme.

The scheme was launched on 24 April,2020 also known as the National Panchayati Raj Day.

Objectives of SVAMITVA Scheme

Main objective of the scheme is to provide an integrated property validation solution for rural India.

The landowners will be provided SVAMITVA Property Cards by the Government authorities.

This scheme is funded by the central Government & Rs.79.65 Cr have been alloted for this project.

Currently,the scheme is applicable for only 6 states :- Haryana ,M.P,U.P,Uttarakhand & Maharashtra.

With the help of a drone mapping of areas will take place for upto 4years and for this mapping Drone Surveying Technology &

Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) will be used.

Benefits of SVAMITVA Scheme

This scheme willbring financial stability among the people of rural areas and their propert can be used to get a loan or to enjoy other financial benefits.

This will also support the Gram Panchayat Development Plan and will also help in solving the property related disputes.

And after the success of the pilot project,over 6 Lakhs ruler are supposed to be benefitted through this scheme.

There will be no illegal attempt to grab someone property as their would be some strict rules and documents.

Because of the mapping the government will have a clear idea of land distribution.
