William Shakespeare was an English poet, actor and the most famous dramatist in the world. He is considered as one of the greatest writers to ever use the English Language.

William Shakespeare was born on 23rd April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. His birth date is not exact, but as per church records, he was baptized on 26th April 1564. He died on 23rd April 1616 at the age of 52 years. His father name was John Shakespeare and mother name was Mary Shakespeare.

William Shakespeare is also known colloquially as "The Bard" or "The Bard of Avon,"

William Shakespeare was also an actor and the creator of the Globe Theatre, a historic theatre, and company that is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. 

William Shakespeare had attended the Grammar School in Stratford, where he had studied Latin and read classical literature. He did not attend any university for higher studies.

William Shakespeare at an age 18 got married to Anne Hathaway, who was eight years older than him. He had three children first daughter Susanna and twins, Hamnet and Judith.

William Shakespeare first made his appearance on the London stage, where his plays were written and performed, around the year 159, not exact year.

William Shakespeare wrote at least 37 plays, 375 of Poems, 150 Sonnets, 100 of Quotes. His works represent the tragedy, comedy, and historical works, both in poetry and prose

Today, nearly 400 years later, William Shakespeare English plays are still performed and read more often in almost all over the world. His English plays are translated into more than 50 Languages. Many Educational Institutes & Colleges have added Shakespeare's literature in their educational curriculum.
