1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit China on 27th April to 28th April, to hold bilateral talks with China's President Xi Jinping. The announcement was made by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.  

2. Union Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is on a four-day visit to China to attend the foreign ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Beijing.

3. The Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi has approved promulgation of Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance to provide the death penalty for rapists of child girls below 12 years. 

4. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched several projects in the Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli to boost the infrastructure of Dadra Nagar Haveli and will help in increase of tourism and industrial sector.

5. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved restructured Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) Scheme.

6. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared that the nation would be halting its nuclear tests and intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launches and will shut down its atomic test sites.

7. In a bid to strengthen bilateral trade ties with India, Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC) launched its office in Delhi, ahead of Taiwan’s first-ever expo that will showcase cutting-edge technology and smart city solutions in Delhi in May 2018.

8.  In India, National Civil Services Day was observed on 21st April 2018, across India. It was the 12th Edition of the national Civil Services Day.

9. India and Finland have reached an agreement on the tax dispute with Nokia under Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) system. The resolution covers dispute pertaining to 1,600 crores sum to Nokia India as well as Nokia Corp.

10. According to the study by the University of New Mexico, in 200 years, cows could become the largest mammals on land.
