1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an official visit to United Kindom on 18th April 2018. He met Britain's PM Theresa May held bilateral talks and attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed UK citizens and people all over the world through Live Telecast in ‘Bharat ki Baat, Sabke Saath’ event held at Central Hall Westminster in London on 18th April 2018. 

3. India and UK signed 10 MoUs and Agreements and agreed to several other bilateral initiatives, including in the areas of technology, trade and investment.

4. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a new and updated 'QR code' for offline ‘Aadhaar Verification’ that will have non-sensitive details such as the name, address, photo and date of birth.  

5. Indian Premier League-2018 Updates: King XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 15 Runs, in IPL match, held on 19th April 2018 at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

6. Assam Government has launched a new cashless health scheme for its state named as ‘Atal Amrit Abhiyan’ (AAA) on 19th April 2018.

7. India was ranked at 10th position in the Commonwealth Innovation Index-2018, while the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Canada topped the positions on the index.

8. Bisket Jatra Festival celebrations held in Nepal. It is a Nine-Days long annual celebration marks the beginning of Nepali Calendar.

9. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 18th April 2018, opened its first public movie theatre, after over 35 years of prohibition for religious reasons. 

10. NASA on 19th April 2018 successfully launched Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), the first-of-its-kind mission to discover planets outside the solar system, including some that could support life.

11. China on 18th April 2018, had proposed for the construction of the India-Nepal-China Economic Corridor with multi-dimensional connectivity through the Himalayas.
