The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Survey List-2018, has been released by Minister of Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar on 3rd April 2018 in New Delhi.
This year NIRF has received a total of 4,500 institutions applications in 9 categories.
The NIRF-2108 Ranking Top 10 List in categories of 'Overall Ranking Institutes', 'University' & 'Colleges' are as follows:
According to NIRF-2018, in ‘Overall Ranking Institutes’ Category, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has topped (1st) followed by IIT Madras (2nd Position); IIT Bombay (3rd); IIT Delhi (4th); IIT Kharagpur (5th); Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU (6th); IIT Kanpur (7th); IIT Roorkee (8th); Banaras Hindu University , Varanasi (9th); Anna University, Chennai (10th).
According to NIRF-2018, in ‘Universities’ Category, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has topped (1st) followed by JNU (2nd Position); Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (3rd); Anna University, Chennai (4th); University of Hyderabad (5th); Jadavpur University, Kolkata (6th); University of Delhi (7th); Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore (8th); Savitribai Phule Pune University (9th); Aligarh Muslim University (10th).
According to NIRF-2018, in ‘Colleges’ Category, Miranda House, Delhi University has topped (1st) followed by St, Stephens, Delhi University (2nd Position); Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli (3rd); Hindu College, Delhi (4th); Presidency College, Chennai (5th); Loyola College, Chennai (6th); Shri Ram College for Commerce, Delhi (7th); Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi (8th); Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Howrah (9th); Madras Christian College, Chennai (10th).
