Skill India: Japan gives Indian youth on job training for 3 to 5 years in Japan

 

 

India to send 3 lakh youth to Japan for on-job training for 3-5 years under the Government Of India's Skill development programme

Under the decision of the government of India will send 3 lakh youth to Japan for on-job training for 3-5 years under the Government’s Skill development programme.

The announcement was given by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan 11 October 2017.

Union Cabinet has approved the signing of Memorandum of cooperation (MoU) between Japan and India on the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP).

The Technical Interning Training Program is an ambitious program to send one lakh Indian technical interns to Japan for on the job training for a period of 3-5 years.

Under the training, the youth will work in the Japanese ecosystem and will get employment opportunities there along with accommodation facility.

TITP is also expected that about 50, 000 out one lakh interns may get the job in Japan. The monetary cost of the skill training of Indian technical interns would be bearded by Japan.

The selection of the youth for TITP will be done in a transparent manager as per the Japanese requirements. The memorandum of cooperation (MoU) is likely to be signed in this month.

The memorandum of the corporation (MoU) will pave the way for bilateral cooperation between both the countries in the area of skill development.
