The government of India and the Reserve Bank of India at a conference has decided to issue Sovereign Gold Bonds 2017-2018 Series-III.
The Application for the bond will be accepted from 09 October 2017 to 27 De3cember 2017.
The Bond will be issued on the succeeding on 09 October 2017after each subscription period.
The Bond will be sold through banks, Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), designed post offices and recognized stock exchanges viz, National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Bombay Stock Exchange.
