Best MLA Awardee Jagdish Mukhi is a member of BJP and the Initial Training Campus of RSS in 1963.
Jagdish Mukhi was born to a Punjab Hindu Family on 1st December 1942 in Dajal, Dera Gazi Khan distinct Panjab which is now, in Pakistan. He moves to Sohna village in the Gurgaon in 1947.
Jagdish Mukhi Educational Academic Degree and Achievement
Jagdish Mukhi Obtained a B.Com from Raj Rishi College in Alwar (Rajasthan and M. Com from Sriram College in University of Delhi). Before entering in Politics Jagdish Mukhi was a Prefacer of at Shaheed Bhagat College.
Jagdish Mukhi was awarded a PHP in Finance from Kurukshetra University in October 1995. He also joined the Reserve Bank of India.
Political Life
Jagdish Mukhi took his first step in into politics as early as 1958 during he went through the Initial Training Campus of RSS in 1963.
Jagdish Mukhi was elected as president of students of Union of Raj Rishi College of Commerce in Alwar as the ABVP candidate.
Previously, Jagdish Mukhi was Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Island in 2016.
Now, Jagdish Mukhi has become the Governor of Assam on 30 September 2017 and Assumed Office on 1 st October 2017 preceded by Banwarilal Purohit.
