India Display the third National Wildlife Action Plan (NWAP) to point out the feature roadmap for wildlife protection for 2017-2031.
The plan was come out by environment minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on the inaugural day of the global wildlife programme (GWP) on 2nd October 2017.
The first National Board Action plan (NWAP I) was drafted and adapted which was put on into practice from 1983 through 2001.
The second from 2002 till 2017, after they both plan, the third NBWL Action plan comes in 2017.
The third Action plan is unique is as this is the first time India has recognized the concern relating to climate change impact on wildlife. on 2nd October 2017.
A road map to protection wildlife of the country, in the form of an Action Plan, was mooted in the 15th convention of Indian Board for Wildlife (NBWL).
India has underlined on unified actions that need to be taken for its moderation and adoption into the wildlife management planning process.
