Chhattisgarh Government reduced interest on loan given to women under Saksham Yojana

State Government of Chhattisgarh has reduced the rate of interest on the loan to women and their self-help group under Saksham Yojana.

The rate of the interest on the loan has been cut from 6.5 percent to 5 percent to benefit more women and their SHGs under this Yojna.

The decision was taken by Ramsheela Sahu who is the State’s Women and Child Development Minister.

Ramsheela Sahu has taken the decision while chairing a meeting of the governing body of Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh (CMK) at Raipur.

The initiative will allow the women and SHGs to easily avail the loan facility for self-employment and therewith become self-dependent.
