The government of Bihar has decided to follow its reservation policy while engaging professionals and other employees through outsourcing agencies.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar chaired a state cabinet meeting in Patna on 1st November 2017 where the decision was taken.
The new policy will make private outsourcing agencies recruit manpower based on the reservation policy of the state government if they want to work with state agencies.
Thousands of IT professionals have been engaged by the state government and district administrations to run IT operations including Beltron and skill development centre.
