Google specialized in Internet-related services, has launched ‘#SecurityCheckKiya’ campaign in India on 6th February 2018 at the occasion of ‘Safer Internet Day’ celebrated globally.
Google initiated the campaign in India, in order to create awareness around the Internet safety. It also focuses to protect first-time web users from account hijacking, safeguarding Android devices from malicious apps and in securing user’s personal data in case of losing their device.
Under the campaign, Google has proposed three simple steps for Internet safety which includes Reviewing security settings and Google account activity with one click for all Android devices and Gmail users.
Google Security Checks enables and help users in automatically scanning for any vulnerability and also guiding them to keep their account safe in a few minutes.
Google Play Protect service ensures scanning and checking users Android devices for any harmful apps.
Find My Device app from Google provides a user to easily locate a lost Android device and keeps the device and information secure.
