How to Activate the Universal Account Number (UAN) by sending SMS?
Follow these steps to activate your UAN by SMS service:-
- First of all, go to your phone's message box. Type a message in the format of EPFOHO ACT, 12 Digit UAN, Member ID.
- Please Notice member ID and PF number both are the same so you need not be confused with Member ID.
- While typing the message do not keep any spaces before and after the Comma.
- For example, if your UAN is 123456781234 and your Member ID or the PF number is XXXYYY3211234567 then you will write your message in the message box in the following format EPFOHO ACT,123456781234, XXXYYY3211234567
- send this message to the number 7738299899.
- After some time of sending this message, you will get the activation message of your UAN Number.
