Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel celebration as Ekta Diwas in India organising Run for Unity
Mr. Venkaiah Naidu directed the pledge on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary as Ekta Diwas.
The pledge known as ‘Ekta Pledge’ was taken by all the employees and officials of both the ministries.
The employees and officials also pledged against corruption
Everyone pledged to maintain the integrity, unity and security of the country as the union and needs to preserve the visions and actions of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
Naidu stated that the contributions of the great leaders needs to be respected by reminding people the importance of their vision to present times.
The government has also organised several programmes relating to the contribution of Sardar Patel.
Sardar Patel’s contribution to the country will be remembered by all the citizens and will be celebrated as ‘Ekta Diwas’ every year.
